Sports Day Kids Party.

Why not try something different for your child's birthday party

Active, fun and rewarding, sporty parties are a perfect way to get children interacting and having fun. Before the party ask your child what activities he or she want to do on their big day. Sack races, assault courses, egg & spoon is a good choice if you have a few children at the party. If you have 10 children you can always play football, cricket or rounders.

Have fun....

Some party ideas.

1, Try to think about some activity that you can do indoors or outdoors. And create some space beforehand for the party animals to enjoy it safely.

2, Get some extra plates & cups for hungry adults, as they arrive later to pick the children up.

3, Get some spare napkins to wrap your birthday cake up in. They are always good to put in the party bags at the end.

4, Charge the camcorders & cameras BEFORE the party. We have all done that misstake!!!!!!

5, And remember, It's only on for a few hours but you might want to have a relaxing bath after.....

Keep The Balloon in the Air

Give each child a round blown up balloon, write their name on the balloon to stop any arguments. Also give each child a piece of A4 paper.
All they have to do is keep their balloon in the air the longest, wafting it with the paper. The player whose balloon is the last to stay in the air is the winner.

Are you having a Party Theme?

It should not be difficult to organize a themed kids party. I think it sometimes can be easier to have a themed birthday party for little ones. You can easily make a costume yourself depending on how much time you have and how imaginative you are....
There is always lots of Fancy dress shops online as well for you to easily choose one from.
I ones did a very easy 'fancy dress' for my son's party.
A ghost.... Just take a white sheet, cut wholes for arms & eyes. Make black rings around the eyes and tie a rope around the waist.
Voila!!
A Ghost.

Plan a Fun Kids Party.

A successful kids party is a party where the birthday child feels special and everyone else is comfortable and having lots of fun.
Birthday parties is the perfect opportunity to let your child feel how important and special she or he is to you.
What kind of party you should have is always difficult to decide,
-How much time do you have?
-Have you got any help?
-And how much money do you want/can to spend?

It does not need weeks of preparation or be very advanced. It is the small and the important details that will make your birthday party to a success.
Have a look at our Party planning for more ideas.

Good Luck!

Why have a birthday party?

When you are planning for your child's birthday party you always think,
-We have such a small house, where are they all going to play?
-What party food are we having?
-What games can we have indoors?

But why not have an outdoor party?
Take the children to the nearest park or find a great place in the Forrest or on a field close to where you live.

Prepare some picnic food like, squash, sandwiches, cakes, some sweets maybe and bring some big blankets.
And also bring pass the parcel game to entertain the party animals...

Children's birthday parties are so much fun and it only happens once a year so make the most of it.
Have a great Kids Party Picnic!

Wrapping up a birthday gift!

Always tape the birthday card to the present when you're wrapping a gift or tuck it inside a birthday gift bag. There's nothing more frustrating for a parent who is opening up gifts with their children and then can't find the person how's it is from.....
Then you can write your Thank you cards in peace!

Pin the Tail on the Donkey

Draw or paint a picture of the back of a donkey without the tail on a big piece of paper or card draw on a big "x" where the tail should be, also paint a separate tail that will be pinned on or use "blue tac". Each guest is blindfolded in turn and lead to the donkey, spin them round 3 times, then they have to "pin the tail on the donkey". The one who has put their tail closest to the "x" is the winner. Either make different tails for each guest or mark the spot with their name.
