Three blind mice
One person is the cat, the others stand in a circle round the cat, the cat puts their hands over their eyes and repeats "three blind mice, see how they run" as many times as they wish. When they stop and say "see how they run NOW" The mice run away and the cat tries to catch them, the one to be caught then becomes the cat.

Confetti
Do you buy confetti to your child's birthday party? Well, it is getting more and more popular to get some for the party table or just to put in the party bags. Children love the small little 'sparkles' or 'animal' shaped figures on the table as decoration.
Please have a look at out range of different confetti.
Have a lovely day.
Keep the Balloon in the air
Give each child a round blown up balloon, write their name on the balloon to stop any arguments. Also give each child a piece of A4 paper.
All they have to do is keep their balloon in the air the longest, wafting it with the paper.
The player whose balloon is the last to stay in the air is the winner.

Sun, Sun, Sun....
What a lovely day it has been here! Sunny and warm again. Been doing some gardening in the lovely sunshine. My son still enjoys his school very much but you can see that all the new impressions makes him tired after a day at school. And he only goes half days until christmas...
I hope you can be outside and enjoy the english weather....
Sun, sun, sun don't go away!

Kids Party
Your child's party should be fun. Don't loose perspective. If games and events don't come off as planned, remember that children are unpredictable. As long as everyone is having a good time, then the party is a success. And remember, there's always NEXT YEAR!

How many & whom to invite to your party.
Invite fewer guests for younger children, 4 to 6 children for ages 1 to 3, 10 to 12 children for ages 4 to 12. If it is a large party, be sure you have plenty of space for the guests. Children can become easily overwhelmed in crowds.
Inviting all the children from your child's class can be a good way to meet his or her school friends; however, it might be a bit unmanageable depending on the number of children in the class. If everyone in the class is not invited, invitations should be mailed to the home, not delivered during class.

Grandparents!
Tomorrow we are off to visit the grandparents.... Cameron just loves to see them and I though I take him there so he can tell them all about starting school!!
He is very excited so I'm sure he will be up early ready to get in the car. They live up north east London so it will only take me one hour ( in good traffic ) to get there.
Have a great weekend ,

First day at school
The first day at school went really well. We left him this morning outside the class room and he was happy seeing his friends from nursery there playing already. He seems to have had a great day, he did not say that much when we picked him up though! But he looked very pleased with him self as he waved bye bye to his friends...
Another day tomorrow though....
Will give you all an update on that one!

One day to go....
Tomorrow is the big day for my son Cameron. He starts SCHOOL! He looks so grown up in his new uniform and very handsome. Most of his nursery friends (23 kids ) is going to the same school so he will be quite comfortable there.
He is looking forward starting but I'm not sure he completely understand what's 'school' really is. Something he will do Everyday for the next 11 years..... I'm ok with it but I do think they start school very early here in England. I'm swedish, and we start school when we are 6 years old and finish when we are 15 years old. So schooling is a bit shorter in Sweden. But equally good.

Picking Black Berries.....
I just love black berries....
So I went out yesterday to pick some more. But they are now getting a bit soft and watery so I only manage to get half a bowl. They taste lovely in my porridge in the morning and also in my home made cakes that I some times bake!
I have now quite a few bags of the black berries in the freezer so I can take up as I need them. Jammy.....

Outside play
HI,
Today we have been to an outside play farm with some friends. The sun was shining but it was very windy all day. It is lovely to see you child just running around enjoying them self playing together nicely. It felt like the last whole day together with my old NCT friends. All our children is starting school next week so our weekly meetings for last 4 years is coming to an end!
I have really enjoyed having those friends around me for support and just chatting over a cup a coffee. They will still be there of course but the weekly meet is finally up.....;(
But I guess we can still meet up with out little one's and kind of starting all over again!!!
Anyway, going out tonight with some other friends for dinner. Looking forward sitting down without the kids and enjoying the peace.
Take Care

Birthday Party
Hello,
I have just been to a 4th birthday party with my son. They had Bob the Builder for their birthday party theme. My son just loves Handy Manny at the moment. Watching it on Tv most mornings actually, ( now we have sky installed ).
There was lots of children at the party but luckily we could be outside to play, as they have a small house it would have been a bit tight....
Anyway, have to go and cook dinner for my little ones now. Hoping for a early night as they seems to be quite tired after all the running around playing.
See ya.

Back to School....
And there we are, summer holidays over, Again!
We have had a great summer with a few holidays in Europe. The sun has been seen on few occasions here in England this year but I have to say that I'm glad we went abroad to get some more sun.
My son is starting school next week and is very exciting about it all. Not sure if I'm ready though to let him go.....But the time has come and I hope he will get on well in his new school and all the new friends.
Good luck to all of you children who will be starting a new school this term and hope you will enjoy you new class.
Have fun
